BMI Launches Pinterest Lottery Campaign

In what is thought to be a world first, British Airline BMI has launched a campaign across the social network, Pinterest.

Creating five separate boards, the online campaign features visual content on Beirut, Dublin, Marrakech, Moscow and Nice. Each board created has nine images, or pins, each with a different number and users are asked to choose up to six different numbers, in a lottery style execution. Game players choose their pins by repinning from any of the boards available. At the end of each week a lucky number is chosen, with one user at random who chose that number winning a pair of free return flights to any BMI destination.

As one of the most talked about and fastest growing social networks of the new year, BMI is utilising Pinterest in an attempt to stay ahead of the digital game and engage via a platform that has seen a high number of travel seekers looking for next trip inspiration.
